Jill Zarin Says Ryan Serhant Should Play Christian Grey

Why the MDLNY star should be cast in '50 Shades of Grey.'

Anyone who thought that the 50 Shades of Grey's casting frenzy had died down got a bit of a shock this week when Charlie Hunnam dropped out of the film. Christian-less, the Internet once again rages on with casting rumors and wish lists. And one of the names that keeps cropping up is Million Dollar Listing New York's very own Ryan Serhant.

The real estate agent turned actor certainly seems to share Christian's chiseled good looks and gray eyes and—let's face it—the man knows how to rock an expensive suit much like the fictional billionaire. Even The Real Housewives of New York City's Jill Zarin told Star Magazine that "[Ryan] is Christian."

Ryan has a response of his own for Star. “I am always flattered when fans call me their Christian,” he says. “Christian and I have a lot in common…I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.”

As anyone who's read the highly popular erotic novels knows, Christian Grey does not leave much to the imagination, which might make Ryan's carefully executed "Real Estate Porn Open House" from last season make a lot more sense. At least if Ryan gets filmed playing Christian, it ought to give Frederik Eklund some good material for retaliating at "Pornogate."

Do you think Ryan would make a good Christian Grey? Tell us in the comments.
