Joanna Krupa Talks Baby and Honeymoon Plans
"I definitely want to [start a family]," the 'RHOM' star says.
It's been a week since Joanna Krupa and Romain Zago tied the knot in a romantic San Diego ceremony, and the Real Housewives of Miami stars are still enjoying what she calls "the happiest moment of my life."
Now comes the question that is surely on everyone's mind: will the newly married couple start a family?
"I definitely want to," Joanna tells the Dish. "But not in the near future. But who knows? Sometimes things happen!"
Joanna adds that she's happy spending time with her husband. "I want to enjoy our marriage for a little while even though I don't feel anything has changed," she admits. "I thought maybe when we got married, we'd bicker less, but oh no, nothing's changed! We're still the same crazy couple!"
Once the time comes to expand their brood, Joanna already has visions of what her newborn could look like. "If we have a boy, I pray he looks like Romain because he was the cutest little boy," she says. "And I'd want a girl to look like me! But I'd really love to have twins. My dad's a twin and they say it skips a generation. I'd love that. Wham, bam and be done with it!"

Although Romain hopes to start their family sooner rather than later, Joanna says he's also well aware that he should be careful what he wishes for. "Romain always tells me, 'Oh my lord, when you're pregnant, I'm closing you in a little room for nine months and leaving you there because you'll probably be the biggest bitch on the planet!" she says with a huge laugh. "At least he's honest! He definitely doesn't hold back—just like I don’t. The things that come out of our mouths, it's like, 'Did we just say that?!"
For now, the newlyweds are looking forward to planning a honeymoon, but they're holding off due to their busy schedules. Once the time comes for a romantic getaway, Joanna says, the two are hoping for a trip to Positano, Italy or Bora Bora in the fall.
Joanna's road to the altar will be chronicled on Season 3 of RHOM, which returns to Bravo on August 12 at 9 PM ET/PT. Watch a preview for the season below.
