Audriana Giudice Has "Very Few" Memories of Father Joe Giudice
"It's been four years since we've been a family," Gia Giudice says in this The Real Housewives of New Jersey preview.
It's difficult for the Giudice girls to remember a time before father Joe Giudice's legal troubles, especially the youngest, Audriana Giudice.
In the above preview of the December 11 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa and her four daughters (Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10) look back at some old family photos and share their favorite memories of Joe. "Audriana, do you remember a lot of it now with Daddy and stuff?" Gia asks her sister in the clip.
"Probably not," Gabriella says before we see Audriana looking sad.
Gia says in an interview in the video that she's glad that she's able to remember so many happy times with her dad, unlike Audriana, who was only 6 years old when Joe began his prison sentence in March 2016. "It's very hard watching Audriana not remember any of these moments because I have so many memories that I could think of with my father, and she has very few," Gia shares.
She goes on to express the void Joe's absence has left in the family since he went away. "Since my father left, we always wished just to be a family again, just to live under the same roof again," Gia says. "It's been four years since we've been a family, and until my father is back, it's never gonna feel the same."
Teresa gets emotional while looking at the photos with her daughters, as well as during an interview in the clip. "Joe might have made mistakes, but if he does get deported, it punishes the children," she shares. "They miss their daddy."
Joe was released from custody in October to his native Italy where he is currently awaiting a final decision in his ongoing deportation case. Teresa and their daughters reunited with Joe in Italy for the first time since his release in November.
The trip was an unforgettable experience for the family. "We just were there to enjoy each other's time, lots of laughs, lots of tears, reacquainting with each other. It was pretty amazing. We had the best time ever. It was so good," Teresa said during an interview with Good Morning America last month. "My daughters are at an age now, Joe and I were just so amazed how mature and beautiful and smart they really are. They blow us away."
However, this trip hasn't made being away from Joe any easier for the family. "I thought that the girls would be fine when we came back from Italy, but they're really missing Joe still," Teresa said at BravoCon in November. "It's like Milania told me the other day, she's like, 'I miss Daddy so much.' It breaks my heart. It's hard."
Teresa shared several updates on her daughters during BravoCon, which you can check out, below.
