Caroline Manzo on Joe Giudice's Deportation Case: "I'm Very Sad for the Whole Situation"
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum shares her reaction to his recent interview with Andy Cohen.
Teresa Giudice and Caroline Manzo may still not be on the best of terms after their time together on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but the Manzo'd with Children matriarch still has a lot of love for Joe Giudice.
Caroline shared her thoughts on Teresa and Joe's recent interview with Andy Cohen during the October 29 episode of the Dear Albie podcast. She said in regards to watching Joe during the interview, “You have to respect the fact that he owns it.”
While speaking with her eldest son Albie Manzo, Caroline praised the RHONJ husband as a dad to his four daughters — Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10. "I will say that he is and always has been a wonderful father, a wonderful father, and he loves his girls to death," she said. "So I would hope that he's able to keep the relationship going."
Caroline also shared that she is heartbroken over the possibility of Joe being deported to his native Italy (he still awaits a final decision in his appeal in the case). "I'm very sad for the whole situation," she said. "Joe doesn't belong in Italy. He doesn't belong there. It's sad. He should be with his girls.”
Caroline's name actually came up during the interview with Teresa and Joe when Andy asked for their thoughts on a prediction the alum made many seasons ago on RHONJ about the couple's legal issues and the fate of their marriage, which you can view, above. "I'm not gonna sugarcoat anything," Teresa said when asked for her reaction to the possibility of the prediction coming true. "I mean, this is my life. I've been through a lot."
Andy later said on his radio show on October 28 that he regrets not challenging Teresa more on her comments about Caroline. "The only point I was trying to make to her — and I ultimately finally did — was that Caroline's prediction might be right," he said.
