Joe Giudice Is “Overwhelmed with Emotion” While Spending Easter Without His Daughters
The RHONJ family had to cancel their plans to reunite in Italy for the holiday.
Joe Giudice is keeping his family on his mind during the Easter holiday. The Real Housewives of New Jersey dad shared an emotional message to his daughters on Instagram after the family’s planned reunion in Italy had to be canceled amid the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Joe took to Instagram to share a video slideshow featuring photos of the four daughters he shares with Teresa Giudice. “For [Easter], my family and I were to reunite instead the unthinkable happened, not a day, hour, min. goes by that I don't think about the girls,” he wrote. “Special occasions are the hardest without them it feels emptier and less joyful.”
Joe went on to write, “My heart breaks for anyone who is going through not seeing their kids, wife, parents, or loss. This has taught me to be grateful and humbled by all my experiences it reinforced the idea of never taking anything for granted, especially my babies.”
Though the RHONJ dad was not able to see his daughters in person as planned, he later revealed that he was able to celebrate with them virtually. “Happy Easter from me and my “ZOOM” Peeps to you,” he wrote in a second Instagram post. “[Cheers] to wishing we all turn on our [cameras] while not spilling our [wine].”
This isn’t the first time that Joe has spoken out about the difficulties he’s faced during the ongoing lockdown in Italy. Earlier in April, he shared a video of himself wearing a face mask, stating, “This is how we have to drive here to the store. Otherwise, they pull you over and they put you in jail. So you gotta wear your mask and you gotta wear your gloves when you go to the store, very important.”
