Jon Gosselin Is Stripping Down Magic Mike-Style in Atlantic City
Move over, Channing Tatum. There's a new act in town.
Do you like to watch men dance for money? What if it’s really sad? If your answer to both of these questions is yes, there’s a show for you opening on Saturday, April 1, at Caesar's Dusk Nightclub in Atlantic City. That’s the night Jon Gosselin of Jon & Kate Plus 8 will be making his debut as a pretty dancer in their Men Untamed Male Revue show. Jon has been DJing and promoting the club for some time, and maybe night after night of watching ripped dudes create magic on stage for hordes of screaming ladies left him feeling a little wistful.
He announced on Twitter that he’s stepping out from behind the booth and shaking what his mama gave him for the curious, horny crowd:
The club’s owner, Eric Millstein, made it clear to reporters that Jon is for real dancing, not just MCing or introducing his more muscular counterparts. He told USA Today, “He’s been rehearsing with [our performers], doing everything that it takes to make sure that he participates in the fun kind of way that’s entertaining for everybody, and he’s excited about it and so are we we’re happy to have him." If you go to the show expecting Jon to rock it for a full hour, prepare to be let down. Eric revealed he’ll only be appearing in the opening and closing act, but he added, “Ticket sales are fantastic. Everybody’s curious.” In other words, if you are one of those curious folks, you better get in line fast.
So, how much of this guy are we going to see? Full frontal? Eric said, “He will be performing in the spirit of the program that he’s participating in 100%.” Hmm. Probably just some tank top tearing and gyrating in that case, judging by past experiences at all-male revues. Almost worth it for the story, but remember that there are some things you can’t unsee.
