Fatherhood Will Change Everything for Josh Altman, According to James Harris

There's about to be a new dad on the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles block, and that agent just so happens to be Josh Altman, who is weeks away from meeting his daughter. While Josh might be a novice when it comes to raising a kid, James Harris certainly is not. This MDLLA agent already has two little girls of his own. So, he's more than willing to offer up come advice for Mr. Altman ahead of his daughter's birth.

"Get ready, Josh Altman, and buckle up, buddy, 'cause things are about to change and get real," James recently told The Daily Dish. "I can say when I had Sophia, seven years ago, sad but true, I couldn't actually look after myself seven years ago and I really wasn't ready to have children back then. It changed my world. It changed my life."

Those non-parents out there might not really understand his sappy sentiments about the joys of fatherhood, but James knows that Josh and his wife, Heather Bilyeu Altman, will soon totally get it. "And I know there's people out there that don't realize that yet, they haven't had kids, and when people say it they're like, 'Oh shut up.' When you have a child life is no longer about you. Life is about your child, your children. Life becomes about them and how you can provide for them, take care of them. So I think it's gonna change Josh entirely," he said. "I think it's gonna soften him and you know he comes across as a hard ass, but I think it's gonna be a brilliant thing for him."
