Did Carole Radziwill See Jules Wainstein's Divorce Coming?
The #RHONY writer reveals something seemed "weird" about the couple.
Jules Wainstein confirmed to The Daily Dish her plans to divorce her husband Michael Wainstein via her rep back in June. Now, after seeing some of their marital issues play out this season of The Real Housewives of New York City, it makes you wonder if any of the newbie's castmates had a feeling that their relationship might be in trouble.
Carole Radziwill said she really didn't see the divorce coming when she appeared on Tuesday night's Watch What Happens Live (clip above). "No, I mean, I kind of heard little things here and there from the very beginning of the season, but, you know, I don't listen to too much of the talk about town," she told one caller. "I didn't spend too much time with her. I only met Michael once. I thought he was very nice. On the show, you can see that they seemed perfectly fine."
But now seeing how they interact with each other on RHONY this season, Carole said there may have been some red flags. "The warning sign for me was they get up in the morning, she's trying to make him coffee, and he's like, 'You don't know how to make coffee? Why don't you know how to make coffee?' Well, it's like, you guys have been together for 10 years. You're just finding out right now that she can't make coffee?" she said. "There was, like, weird sh** like that going on."
Bethenny Frankel previously revealed on WWHL in June that she was told Jules and Michael were planning on calling it quits before the season began. She also told Andy Cohen that she picked up on signs that their marriage might be in trouble. "I think so. I mean, yes. Yes, I did," she said. "They came over to my house a couple of times and I kind of talked to them a little bit, but it wasn't on the show."
The Skinnygirl mogul, who finalized her divorce from Jason Hoppy last month, also had some valuable advice for Jules as she embarks on the divorce process. Hear her words of wisdom, below.
