Juliet Angus Joins Lisa Vanderpump in Protesting the Yulin Dog Meat Festival

"We must put a stop to Yulin and be the voice these dogs don't have," the #LadiesOfLondon stylist said.

Lisa Vanderpump has famously helped lead the U.S. effort in trying to put an end to the Yulin Dog Meat Festival, and now another Bravoleb is joining the fight. Juliet Angus is the latest celebrity to protest against the annual event held in China's Guangxi province where thousands of dogs are slaughtered and eaten.

Juliet will take to the streets outside of the Chinese Embassy in London Wednesday to help stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival, she revealed on Instagram. "It is disgusting and horrifying. Why be so cruel ??" the Ladies of London stylist wrote in a lengthy post. "We must put a stop to Yulin and be the voice these dogs don't have!!! Dogs are family members and like children to most families around the world. They are the only species that loves you more than it loves itself. They give people such love and joy."

The protest comes just days after Humane Society International, VShine, and Beijing Mothers Against Animal Cruelty presented a petition with more than 11 million signatures to the Yulin government office in Beijing on June 10. This year's Yulin Dog Meat Festival is set to begin on June 21.

Lisa has also been doing everything she can to help stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival. She and husband Ken Todd held a World Dog Day celebration last month. They also organized a huge march in protest of the event last October, which we saw last season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Check out photos from the event, below.
