Kandi Burruss Breaks Down in RHOA Season 13 Preview: "The World Is Just Turned Upside Down"
The upcoming RHOA premiere shows an emotional look at the changes the women have experienced in 2020.
A new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is just around the corner. Cast members Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, and Porsha Williams are all returning, along with newcomer Drew Sidora, as Season 13 will explore their personal relationships, as well as the rapidly changing world around them.
In a preview of the first five minutes of the season premiere, available exclusively to Bravo Insiders in the clip, above, the cast members opened up about how the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the current civil rights movement have drastically changed their lives since we last caught up with them.
“Well, the state of the world has completely changed. We cannot travel. We cannot socialize the way we’re normally used to socializing,” explained Kenya. “We cannot do anything. It’s almost like we’re imprisoned in our own home. It actually got to be really quite depressing for me.”
The rest of the cast members shared their stories, as well, including Kandi, who got emotional reflecting on the past year. “Y’all want people to cry at the beginning of their interview day? This is terrible.” she asked.
