Todd Tucker Just Shared His Secret to Being Happily Married to Kandi Burruss
The RHOA husband revealed a relationship secret that left Kandi Burruss and some of the Married to Medicine ladies in their feelings.
Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker will celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary in just weeks. The Real Housewives of Atlanta couple has certainly seen it all during their time together and has grown their family by two more kids, and now we know one of their secrets to keeping their marriage fresh, besides sometimes dressing alike.
Todd spilled his relationship philosophy on Instagram, and what he revealed left Kandi commenting with a heart emoji, so, we guess she approves. "Chase her. Even when she's already yours," he shared on Instagram, along with the caption, "Let’s go!"
And the message was heard loud and clear across Atlanta with both Dr. Jackie Walters and Dr. Heavenly Kimes from Married to Medicine liking the Instagram.
Kandi responded to the post shared by Todd on her own Instagram account, writing, "The chase is still on [and] I love it! I love you [Todd]."
But, that's not all. "Anyway, I went downstairs to get the food I ordered, and guess what I see? He got me these beautiful flowers," Kandi said before reading the card that mirrored the sentiment he shared on Instagram.
Kandi and Todd married on April 4, 2014, and fans watched the couple's glam nuptials on Kandi's Wedding. In those years since, the couple has shared all with fans when it comes to their relationship, including ups, downs, and everything in between.
In fact, in a 2019 appearance on Black Love, the couple shared just how much they have each others' backs as they continue to build an empire.
"I'm a person that, if I love you and I'm with you all the way, in my mind, there's nothing that we cannot do together," Kandi said in a clip from the episode. "So I'm always gonna figure out a plan, like, we can get that! Even though he was definitely making good money, but in my mind, I'm like, we'll figure out how to make that. You'll be fine, don't worry about it. Jump off this cliff, I'm telling you. I got you, let's do this! And we did an event the first month after he quit his job."
"And I might have made damn near a quarter of what I made," Todd added. "Like, for the full year? I made a quarter off my pay off of one event, and it didn't even take that much work."
"I was just trying to show him, if we put our minds together, there's no limit to what we can do. Like, just take the risk, let's do this!" Kandi said.
