Just another day in the fabulous Kardashian-West household.
Kim Kardashian was doing one of the things she does best — taking a selfie — when she got an unexpected guest star in her photo. Her husband Kanye West was apparently rounding the corner just as Kim snapped the shot of herself with her daughter North’s puppy, Sushi.
She posted the candid shot on Instagram anyway, captioning it “When you're trying to take a [photo] with [sushi] but you're photo bombed by your hubby.”
Sushi is a new addition to the Kardashian clan. She and her fluffy, lookalike sister Honey were adopted as birthday presents for North and Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter, Penelope.
Though a source recently revealed to People that Kim had ulterior motives for gifting her daughter a puppy: to prepare her for the baby that Kanye and Kim will soon be having via surrogate. “North has been asking for a puppy for a long time,” the source said. “Kim thought it was a good idea for North to take care of a puppy. It could prepare her for baby sibling too.”
And, of course, what would the queen of social media be if she hadn’t crowdsourced the dog’s name? Sushi got her moniker via a Twitter poll that Kim posted. Even though Peachy Pop (Peaches) won by a few percentage points, the family ultimately decided on the cute, fish-themed Sushi instead.
