The Kardashian family are the latest celebrities to pledge their support to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian confirmed on Twitter on Tuesday that the Kardashian/Jenner family has donated $500,000 to the Red Cross and Salvation Army. They shared the news after comedian Kevin Hart put out a challenge to celebrities to step up and help the victims of the natural disaster.

"We have been watching the heartbreaking footage of the catastrophic flooding in Houston. Our hearts go out to the people of Texas," Kris shared on Twitter.

In addition to the Kardashians, Texas native Beyoncé released a statement about how she is helping those who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey. She said in a statement, via ABC News, "My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help ... I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor (Rudy Rasmus at St. John's in downtown Houston) to implement a plan to help as many as we can."
