"Yeah, actually, I have [hung out with him]," she told Andy. "He's just so nice. He just lives so far away."

Kate Chastain's Thoughts on Luka Brunton
At BravoCon, Kate also interacted with Below Deck Mediterranean Season 8 Bosun Luka Brunton (who also appeared on Below Deck Down Under). On WWHL, Kate revealed whether she would have tried to strike up a boatmance with Luka if they ever crossed paths on a yacht.
"He, like, doesn't know how hot he is, because he's so nice," Kate joked. "He was so nice at BravoCon, I was like, 'You look like this, you could be a lot less nice.'"
Kate Chastain Reveals Her Favorite Below Deck Captain
During her tenure on Below Deck, Kate developed a strong personal and working relationship with Captain Lee Rosbach. When asked who her "current favorite captain" is to watch, Kate shared a surprising answer.
"I'm really impressed by Captain Sandy [Yawn]," she said about the Below Deck Med leader. "She's so inspirational. She has very positive energy."
