Kathryn Dennis Was Involved in Her Second Car Accident in a Month
The Southern Charm cast member was previously involved in a minor wreck at the beginning of August.
Kathryn Dennis was recently involved in a car accident for the second time within the span of one month.
Police say that Kathryn rear-ended another vehicle on South Carolina Highway 41 around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, after a line of cars stopped in front of her in traffic, ABC affiliate WCIV reports. Striking the vehicle in front of her caused a chain reaction, with that car striking the one in front of it and then that vehicle rear-ending the car in front of it as well, according to an incident report from Mount Pleasant Police.
Kathryn had been going about 18 miles per hour at the time of the collision, while the other three vehicles were stopped, police said. Air bags were deployed in Kathryn's vehicle, as well as in the first vehicle she hit, according to authorities. However, no one in any of the four vehicles involved in the accident was injured.
Kathryn received a traffic ticket from an officer for following too closely.
The Southern Charm cast member was previously involved in a minor car wreck in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina on August 2. Kathryn struck a guardrail before hitting three trees and two light poles while traveling north on Highway 17, according to a collision report obtained by WCIV. The vehicle then came to a rest on the southbound side of the roadway.
No injuries were reported, and no citation was issued for the accident.
