On Saturday, the music world lost a promising talent well before her years.

"Gone to soon--Amy Winehouse, 27 found dead...what an incredible voice & talent. She will be missed," The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Phaedra Parks tweeted after hearing the sad news. Fellow Southerner Lawrence Washington added, "RIP Amy Winehouse I lived 4 that lady's music!!"

Breaking her usual upbeat tempo, Kathy Griffin posted, "Not really my job as a comic 2 comment on such things, but very very sad news about A Winehouse. Luv her talent. RIP."

The Real Housewives of Orange County's Gretchen Rossi likewise used social media to express her shock and grief about the Grammy winner's untimely death. "Just heard the news through twitter about Amy Winehouse, so sad to see such a young person have to lose their life," she wrote on Facebook. "My heart goes out to her family. I know the UK feels like they have lost a great talent. Rest in Peace Amy."

Like Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Brian Jones, Jim Morrison, and Kurt Cobain before her, Amy tragically passed away at 27, leading her to enter what's dubbed the "27 Club." For The Millionaire Matchmaker's Patti Stanger, the "Rehab" singer's ongoing battle with drug and alcohol addiction hit uncomfortably close to home. "So sad about Amy Winehouse, as a daughter of an alcoholic, u can't save them. They have to save themselves. My prayers go out to her family!" she tweeted.
