Kathy Hilton Weighs in on Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's Split: "I Shouldn't Say That..."
Former RHOBH friend Kathy Hilton revealed why she thinks Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's split was years in the making.
As one of Kyle Richards' older sisters, Kathy Hilton has a unique perspective on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills O.G.'s recent separation from Mauricio Umansky.
Kathy, who appeared as a friend of the ladies on Seasons 11 and 12 of RHOBH, is set to join cast members Kyle, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Garcelle Beauvais, Annemarie Wiley, and Sutton Stracke on the Season 13 reunion stage when Part 3 airs on March 13.
But before Kathy actually hit the reunion stage, she spent time in the green room getting her hair and makeup done. While there, she sounded off on her younger sister's recent separation from The Agency founder, and she revealed why she thinks their split was years in the making.

In her dressing room, Kathy shared that she was looking forward to seeing her sister on the reunion stage. "I don't like having bad energy with anyone, and I think this is good and healing for Kyle," Kathy said.
She then revealed that she believes that Kyle and Mauricio have been dealing with difficulties in their marriage for several years.
"[Mauricio] is going one way, she's going one way, and they're both trying to work," she continued. "He's dancing for four months on Dancing with the Stars. Kyle, she's not a compulsive person to just jump and make a decision."
"Kyle didn't decide this in three months. This, for sure, I bet she had been thinking and feeling probably the last three [or] four years," the mom of four added. "I shouldn't say that, but I did."
What to Expect from Kathy Hilton on the RHOBH Season 13 Reunion
After it was revealed that Kyle's older sister would be in attendance for part of the reunion, several cast members began to tease what viewers could expect to see from her.
Annemarie noted that Kathy and Kyle, who went through a period of estrangement after Season 12, had "a lot of important things that they talked about at the reunion" during an interview with Page Six.
She added that those conversations were "very deep and very necessary.”
Crystal, who has long been friends with Kathy, told E! News that "Kathy always brings a lightness and comedic relief that we desperately need."
"And, of course, she surprised us!" she continued. "So yeah, she's awesome."
