How Will Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz Spend Their First Christmas as a Married Couple?

Now that Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz have made it official, you might be wondering how the Vanderpump Rules couple will spend their first Christmas as a married couple. Well, Tom recently joked to The Daily Dish that they plan to "not spend it together."

Well, that's only half true. "Even though it's our first Christmas as a married couple, he hasn't been home for Christmas since he moved to L.A. We're gonna spend Christmas Eve in Vegas with my family," Katie explained. Tom, who hails from Minnesota, added, "'Cause they celebrate Christmas Eve and then I'm gonna go on Christmas day with my family."

With the duo "spread[ing] it around a little bit," they will meet up again for New Year's with the rest of the gang in Cabo, Mexico. "Yeah we're all gonna go to Cabo," Katie said. "We haven't all been there together since Stassi's birthday."

And Tom is ready for the trip. "It was a disaster. Cabo redemption," he said.

While they will spend Christmas day apart, the pair considers their Mexican getaway the perfect gift for their first holiday as Mr. and Mrs. Schwartz. "For Christmas we try to do something together like take a trip, so Cabo's kind of our [gift]," she said. "Rather than buy gifts for each other, let's just spend money on a trip together."
