Kelly Dodd Met New Boyfriend Rick Leventhal Thanks to This Housewife
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom had the best wingwoman when she met her new man.
Things are heating up for Kelly Dodd and her new boyfriend, Rick Leventhal. Not only has The Real Housewives of Orange County couple made their relationship Instagram official, but they've also already done some jet-setting together. So it turns out that one of Kelly's fellow Housewives is quite the matchmaker.
Yes, you read that right. Kelly met her new man with the ultimate wingwoman by her side: The Real Housewives of New York City's Ramona Singer.
We found out this nifty tidbit when one fan recently asked how Kelly and Rick met in the comments to one of her posts of the couple on Instagram. "With [Ramona] at his BBQ in the Hamptons," Kelly told her follower.
Kelly came over to the East Coast and spent some time with Ramona in the Hamptons earlier this summer. "She has great energy; she's easy-breezy, always has a smile on her face, she's great," Ramona told The Daily Dish podcast in July. "And she does dishes and takes out the garbage. I like a guest like that. And she stripped her sheets! I'm like, whoa, she's a good girl. Good guest."
It appears that at that time, Kelly and her on-again, off-again boyfriend Dr. Brian Reagan were on a break. "I had no clue she had just broken up with her boyfriend until I saw it in the media," Ramona said.
Kelly announced that she and Rick had begun dating after she and Brian officially split earlier this month. “We met in the Hamptons,” Kelly told PEOPLE. “It’s new, we haven’t even had sex. But he’s already treated me with more respect than Brian ever did.”
