Kandi Burruss Explains Why She Was "Kinda Shocked" by Kenya Moore and Drew Sidora's Drama
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member weighed in on a tense moment between the ladies.
Drew Sidora is still adjusting to the group dynamic with her new friends, and in the February 14 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the newcomer had some thoughts about the way the ladies were handling Kenya Moore’s behavior.
As the women continued their trip in South Carolina, Drew opened up to Porsha Williams about her belief that during the vacation, there had been “more negativity than fun” following a night in which there had been some tension after Kenya went upstairs for the night instead of spending time with the group. In an interview during the episode, which you can check out above, Drew described the situation as “off-putting,” explaining that she felt it was strange that the women were “mad at Kenya” the night before, only to spend the next day “just acting like that didn’t happen.”
The next night during a group dinner, Drew took matters into her own hands and addressed the issue with Kenya. However, the conversation was one that was surprising to some of the other ladies, including Kandi Burruss, who opened up about the situation during a February 14 Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen appearance that you can watch in the video, below.
A viewer asked Kandi if she was “surprised that Drew laid into Kenya at the dinner tonight after Kenya had already apologized, and Drew was complaining earlier about the negativity in the house.”
“I was kind of surprised, because I didn’t, at that time, I didn’t really think Kenya had done anything to her personally, so I was just kinda shocked that she was not letting up on Kenya at all,” Kandi said in response. “Because at that time, I didn’t feel like they really had any beef or whatever, so I was just like, OK, she’s kinda going off on Kenya today.”
