Kenya Moore’s Tribute to Her Family Is So Heartwarming

Kenya Moore is feeling proud of — and grateful for! — her little family. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum married husband Marc Daly in June 2017 and they welcomed daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly in November 2018. Now that Brooklyn is 6 months old, she's reached another exciting milestone: She landed her first magazine cover for Sheen Magazine alongside mama Kenya!

In an Instagram post announcing the cover, Kenya revealed how she's been feeling as of late: "I cannot express the pure love and joy I felt the first time I held my baby girl. I waited my whole life to be a mother and God finally answered my prayers and gave me a family," Kenya, who become a first-time mom at age 47, wrote.

She went on to thank her husband for making her dreams come true. "Thank you [Marc Daly] for making us whole. I’ve never been happier," she wrote.

In another Instagram pic of a photo from the Sheen Magazine shoot, Kenya reflected on the milestones Brooklyn has already reached and the bright future ahead of her. "When I tell you that [Brooklyn] is a little star! Although I want her to be an astro physicist or a surgeon... she’s got it in her DNA[.] It’s so exciting to see her personality develop and the various skills she learns day to day. Of course I worry like every mom does... but it’s the tiny victories, like seeing her roll over for the first time that assure me she’s going to be fine. I love this little angel so much it hurts."
