Kenya Moore's Husband Marc Daly Played an Important Role During the Birth of Their Baby Girl
The Real Housewives of Atlanta husband was a big help in the delivery room.
The big day is finally here! Kenya Moore welcomed her first child, daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly, on Sunday, November 4, and she couldn't have done it without her husband, Marc Daly.
Well, not only in the literal sense of conceiving her child, but also because Marc was a huge support for Kenya in the delivery room. "She's so perfect and strong! Marc was incredible in the [delivery] room," Kenya gushed on Instagram while announcing the birth of her baby girl. "I lost a lot of blood so I'm very weak but they both were strong for me."
Kenya, who had gotten pregnant through IVF, revealed last week on Instagram that she had tested positive for possible preeclampsia, a condition that had caused her to gain "17 lbs in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine." The RHOA alum had to undergo an emergency cesarean section this weekend, well ahead of her original Thanksgiving due date, according to PEOPLE.
Kenya shared a photo from the hospital on Instagram Saturday. "If you want to make God laugh have a plan," she wrote in the post. "Won't be long now. Pray for us."
Fortunately, mom, dad, and baby are all fine now. "God is so good. We are blessed and doing well," Kenya shared in her pregnancy announcement on Instagram on Sunday, November 4. "My heart is so full at the abundance of love for our family! We love you all."
Kenya's daughter won't be the only new addition to the RHOA family in the coming months. Porsha Williams is also expecting her first child with fiancé Dennis McKinley. Get all the tea on her happy news, below.
