UPDATE (SEPT. 8, 9:51 A.M.): It's official! Kenya Moore will be competing in Dancing with the Stars' upcoming Season 30.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

The exciting news was confirmed on Good Morning America on September 8 as the full Season 30 cast of celebs was revealed. Kenya will be vying for the dancing competition's famed Mirrorball Trophy along with country music singer Jimmie Allen, the Spice Girls' Mel C, Bling Empire's Christine Chiu, actress Melora Hardin, influencer Olivia Jade, The Bachelor's Matt James, The Talk co-host Amanda Kloots, actor Martin Kove, Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee, WWE's Mike "The Miz" Mizanin, Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby, actor Brian Austin Green, dancer, singer, and actress JoJo Siwa, and pro basketball player Iman Shumpert.

Following the announcement, Kenya took to Instagram to share the good news and showed her gratitude to daughter Brooklyn Daly and her late grandmother Doris for inspiring her to go after this longtime goal. "Yaaaayyyyyy! So excited to join the cast of [Dancing with the Stars]. This has been a dream of mine for over 20 years!" Kenya wrote. "This is for you [Brooklyn] and my late grandmother Doris who introduced me to dancing through a community center in Detroit! Dreams do come true."

If the rumors are true, then Dancing with the Stars just might be getting a little more gone with the wind fabulous. According to TMZ, The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kenya Moore will twirl on the dancefloor during the upcoming Season 30 of DWTS.

Sources tell the site that Kenya could be joining the new season alongside confirmed celebs Team USA medalist Suni Lee, who just won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games, as well as JoJo Siwa, who will be the first person to compete with a same-sex partner. The full cast is set to be announced on September 8 and the new season premieres later that month.

Earlier this year it was confirmed that Tyra Banks will be back to host in Season 30; Len Goodman, Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli will return as judges.

While fans will have to wait to find out if Kenya will be on DWTS, Tyra has made it clear in the past that she is "a huge fan of the Housewives." She even teased in a statement in late 2020 that she "just tried to get one of her really good friends on the Housewives! She watches the shows. She loves them."

Kenya could be the latest Real Housewife to try and win the mirrorball trophy on DWTS. Previously Lisa Vanderpump, Kim Fields, Nene Leakes, Erika Jayne, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, and Lisa Rinna all competed.
