Kenya Moore’s Estranged Mom Sends Brooklyn Daly a Birthday Present
The RHOA mom opened up about "forgiveness" and "healing" this holiday season.
Kenya Moore has always been honest about her difficult and complicated relationship with her mom. She's spoken about it on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and even attempted to have a conversation with her several seasons back. But, with the arrival of her daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly, last year, things seem to be softening for the estranged pair.
Kenya shared on Instagram this week that her mom sent a belated birthday gift to her adorable tot, who turned 1 last month. "My prayer has always been to have a family. We had a late celebration for @thebrooklyndaly for her birthday and got a surprise of a lifetime. My mother sent her a gift for her. I had stopped praying about our relationship but God sent a message through my child. This is life. And despite challenges God is always on time. Happy Holidays," the RHOA mom shared, along with the Instagrams, #love, #family, #Forgiveness, #miraclebaby and #healing.
Kenya also shared what Brooklyn's grandma sent the smiley 1-year-old: some new outfits for Brooklyn's wardrobe and a celebratory birthday card.
While Kenya and her mom did not always have a smooth relationship, she was very close to her late grandmother, Doris, and even honored her by naming her daughter after her.
