Whenever Beyoncé’s baby shower for her twins happens, it’s going to be a red alert for the Beyhive and Internet gossip sleuths everywhere. Fans and followers are already so hyped up that they constructed an alternate reality over the weekend in which Kim Kardashian was invited to Beyoncé’s shower. Which was not at all the case. But here’s how the confusion happened.
Page Six reports that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin celebrated their daughter Apple’s 13th birthday at the Museum of Ice Cream in LA. on Sunday, and that Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Tina Knowles were all invited.
Tina started posting some great Instagram pics, because her social media feed is a beautiful blessing:
The pictures spurred rumors that the shower was underway. Soon afterward, Snapchats of Kim Kardashian and North West at the same venue surfaced:
She also shared a pic of cookies with the caption, "Baby shower vibes," which could mean anything but is very misleading:
This lead to conspiracy theories about the invite list:
But according to BET and Bossip, those Snaps were actually taken on Friday, when Kim made a trip with her kids solo. Maybe she wasn’t invited to Gwyneth’s party? That’s the real hot gossip here, if you ask us.
