These days, Kim Kardashian is looking hotter than ever. But the reality mama never made it a secret that trying to shed the 60 pounds she gained while pregnant with son Saint West wasn't an easy task. Back in May, Kim revealed that she had finally reached her goal weight of 135 pounds, aka what she weighed before her tot was born. She achieved her goal through a specific diet and with some help from her longtime trainer Gunnar Peterson, who has worked with Kim throughout parts of her slim-down process.
"Kim was in a while ago. I haven't seen Kim in about three weeks. They moved and so when she was in town, I was seeing her early, almost every day," Gunnar told The Daily Dish. "Remember how hands-on a mom she is. So when they're out in Calabasas, for her to roll in here in the morning and roll back that's a tall order," he said (which leads us to wonder if Kim and Kanye West have relocated from their Bel-Air mansion, but we digress.) "But when they were on this side, she was in everyday — but I haven't seen her in maybe three weeks, to be fair."
Regardless of how long it's been, it's pretty clear that Gunnar has an incredible philosophy when it comes to helping moms get in shape. "I would take it case by case before saying, 'Look you're not going to lose your weight for two months, for six months, eight months.' I wouldn't say that to someone," he shared, noting that he would "applaud the positives." "'Great that you're in here, anything you're doing is better than anything you're not.' And I always play off the positive. It's too easy to beat you up for the stuff that's not happening or not going right. And I wouldn't put a deadline on it. Look, embrace the journey. Forget, 'I want to be in shape by September 1.' Really don't you want to be in shape all the time?"
And as you can see, whatever Kim's doing, it's working.
