Kim Kardashian Still Isn't Sorry for that Nude Selfie
The reality star refuses to apologize for her buzzy photo.
Kim Kardashian has been on a mission to push boundaries online. From her provocative Paper magazine cover back in 2014 to her equally-risque nude selfie in March, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians mama is not apologizing for her sexy image. So when she accepted her aptly named "Break the Internet" award at the Webby Awards on Tuesday, she had this message for her haters: "Nude selfies til I die."
Not only did that statement send a message to her critics, it also fit in with the night's five word limit for acceptance speeches. Other big winners at this year's event included Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner for New Founder of the Year (Lenny Letter), Krysten Ritter for Best Actress (Jessica Jones), the Making a Murderer series for Film and Video Breakout of the Year, and Kim's other half, Kanye West, who took home with the Artist of the Year prize. His speech was equally unforgettable. He shared via a pre-taped message, "I can't stand short speeches."
Post-show, Kim celebrated her win on a private jet in her Vivienne Westwood gown en route to Cannes. Oh, the good life.
