Kim Richards' Daughter Reveals Why Her Mom Wanted to Leave The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition
Find out what truly scared the #RHOBH alum while filming her Lifetime show.
Kim Richards and her daughter Kimberly Jackson will face their mortality on Tuesday night's episode of Lifetime's The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition. While the series reguarly features difficult conversations, as it focuses on helping mothers and daughters mend their complicated relationships, the latest exercise nearly caused Kim to break. In the episode, Kim and her daughter are asked to open up about their feelings for one another at a fake funeral for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum.
"My mom freaked out. She did not like the cemetery, the funeral, the death, the loss, none of it. Hated it," Kimberly says in a clip from the episode. "I think this really showed her that she's my world, and that's why I worry like I do." The staging of her faux funeral came at a particularly hard time for the RHOBH mom, who lost her ex-husband, Monty Brinson, to cancer in January.
"It was way too much for me and I just want to—I just want to go home," Kim added in the video below.
Earlier this month, Kim spoke about saying goodbye to her former husband and longtime friend, as well as what it was like to be by his side during his last moments. "He was glad that he was going first because he didn't think he could bare it if it was me and he had to be left here," Kim said, before recalling the final words to her ex. "I said, 'I love you,' and then I felt him just kind of leave, and it was shocking. I just didn't expect it."
