Would Kim Zolciak-Biermann Approve If Brielle Married Her Boyfriend?

Brielle Biermann and her baseball-playing beau, Michael Kopech, recently celebrated their one-year anniversary. And both their families have clocked some facetime with each other in recent weeks. So, it looks like things might be getting serious between the Don't Be Tardy daughter and the pitcher. And no matter what decision Brielle makes when it comes to her future with Michael her mom, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, will support her — even if marriage is in the cards.

"I see a lot of myself in Brielle. Brielle is a homebody and he is too, actually. I think he’s a really good guy and comes from a really good family," Kim told The Daily Dish earlier this spring. "I would like her to date him a little bit longer, but she’s honestly a grown adult and I would trust in the decisions that she would make, to be honest."

The Biermann-Zolciak girls tend to have a soft spot for athletes. After all, Kim is married to NFL pro Kroy Biermann, which means she brings a unique perspective to the whole dating an athlete thing. "I was like, 'Run like hell.' I think Kroy’s a rarity in the industry for sure. I definitely never wanted to date an athlete, never mind marry one. I had a lot of friends who were in the NFL throughout the years and the NBA, so I definitely was not trying to get all mixed up in that, per se. But Kroy’s definitely a rarity. Actually, Michael is very similar to Kroy in that regard," she said. "He’s very humble and comes from a very small town, so I did tell Brielle, 'Listen, everybody’s different. Give him a chance and see.' He’s definitely also a rarity. He’s very young, as well. He’s a good guy. I really like him for her."

When Brielle isn't spending time with her boyfriend, she has a lot of other things going on these days. "She’s really a good girl. She’s really in love with her boyfriend... He’s all over the U.S. training and what have you. She spends a lot of time with him. She would love a bathing suit line, a clothing line. She’s really into fashion. I know that she kind of talked about this, being a celebrity reporter and she would really love to do that," Kim said. "With Michael traveling all over the place, her life has definitely taken a different direction the last year since meeting him. We’ll see. She has a lot of aspirations per se, but she is super busy with Don’t Be Tardy, Instagram, and boyfriend. She’s a huge help to me. I haven’t been to the grocery store in a long time, because that’s her job. She’s a big, big help to me as well. So I’m okay with her just staying home for forever."
