Kim Zolciak Talks Wedding, New Momhood
The RHOA peach hearts family life.
Kim Zolciak is floating on a cloud of domestic bliss now that she's tied the knot with Atlanta Falcon Kroy Biermann and cuddling up at home with baby boy Kroy Jr. And she's still reliving a certain moment from her wedding day.
In an interview with iVillage, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star says, "We got married at our house, and the second I walked out those doors -- I will never forget when I looked at him and how I felt. It was incredible. I'll never ever forget it. And Kroy's vows were from the heart, they were incredible. There wasn't a dry eye here. There were football players, Bravo execs and everybody had tears in their eyes. It was truly, truly beautiful." Of course, she'll get to relive it again, along with you, in the upcoming series Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding.
Kim's enjoying motherhood more the third time around. She explains, "I definitely think being 10 years older, I have a lot more patience. I was a single mom with a 4-year-old and a newborn the last time. So I just had to get through the day. And now I'm in a position where I have Kroy... I feel like with my girls, because I was working two jobs, I missed some of their milestones because I was trying to just make money and pay the bills."
Her older daughters are liking life with baby bro, too: "Ariana, my 10-year-old, is my little helper. She knows what [he] eats and she knows everything about him. If he's fussy, she's like, 'He's gotta burp.' I mean, she's on point. And Brielle, being 14, she's in and out of the house. She has a bit of a social life. But she's like, ‘Mom, he's just so cute.' She's really adjusted well, and she adores him."
The Bravoleb's mindful of just how lucky she is. She says, "My life has definitely changed. I never thought in a million years that I would just meet somebody and my life would just change so much, so fast. I can't tell you how many times I just walk around every day and thank God. I'm just so blessed."
