Kristen Doute Admits Michelle Lally Rumor Was "Not True" in Unseen The Valley Clip
In the extended and uncensored Season Finale, exclusively on Peacock, Kristen explained what she "meant to say" during that explosive fight.
Kristen Doute is backpedaling on explosive claims she made about Michelle Saniei Lally earlier in the debut season of The Valley.
As seen in the extended and uncensored Season 1 finale — which dropped exclusively on Peacock on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 — Kristen told her boyfriend, Luke Broderick, that she wasn’t as articulate as she could have been when in Episode 6, she told producers Michelle “had a f-cking boyfriend for a year,” despite her marriage to Jesse Lally.
In the extended version of the season finale, Kristen and Luke readied themselves to attend the soft opening of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s Jax’s Studio City bar with the rest of the cast from The Valley.
“Of course, I’m not a fan of everyone Jax and Brittany have invited,” Kristen told producers, referring to the Lallys. “But I would really like to have a conversation with Michelle and try to converse about what the hell went on this summer.”
Kristen claimed she'd even sent Michelle a "nice text" about the whole situation.
Kristen Clarifies Michelle Lally Cheating Rumor
The bombshell revelation about Michelle having a boyfriend fell on deaf ears as others perceived the fight to be over inaccurate claims that Jesse wanted to divorce Michelle, the mother of their 3-year-old daughter.
Luke told Kristen he “didn’t know that part of the equation” when Kristen announced the rumor about Michelle's year-long affair. Kristen clarified it “was not true.”

“And here we go again with my misuse of words,” Kristen later said in her confessional. “What I said about Michelle is that she had a boyfriend for a year. What I should have said — what I meant to say — is that she had a boyfriend a year ago.”
She added “whoops” as a form of apology.
Kristen told her current boyfriend that she felt like “a shitty friend” for saying the words aloud, claiming she was “so f-cking worked up.”
“At the time, Jesse wasn’t being a good husband; he was not carrying his weight in their relationship,” the Balancing Act podcast host continued. “So, if I’m gonna be honest, I don’t f-cking blame her for texting with someone.”
In The Valley Season 1, Episode 9, Jax confronted Michelle about texting rumors while away for Janet Caperna’s Babymoon in Big Bear, claiming the rumors originally came from Kristen. Jax said his former Vanderpump Rules costar would do whatever she could to “ruin people’s lives.”
Michelle admitted to texting “multiple people,” explaining it was all part of her job as a real estate agent. She denied Jax’s claims about sending another person “sexy pictures,” and Jesse said he had no concerns at the time, especially considering Kristen was the source.
Are Kristen and Michelle friends again?
Spoiler alert: Kristen and Michelle parted ways at Jax’s Studio City at no better or worse place than when they arrived.
Jax’s sister, Jenny, whom Brittany flew in as a surprise for Jax, wondered why there was “so much drama” with the women, noting that they were “all friends before.”
“So, what’s going on?” asked the sister.
“I don’t think you want to know the answer to that,” Michelle answered.
The conversation then turned back to the events documented in Season 1, Episode 6.
“There was no reason for you to do everything that you did,” Michelle said.
That was when Kristen snapped.
“Janet started it!” Kristen yelled. “Do you not realize that? Janet’s the one who f-cking started a sh-tstorm of lies.”
Brittany tried to excuse herself from Kristen and Michelle’s would-be conversation, but Michelle wasn’t quite ready to talk.
“We’re not going to make up; Michelle, I understand that,” said Kristen as Michelle continued nodding. Kristen then excused herself from the shindig, stating, “There’s nothing else to say.”
A second season of The Valley is already underway.
