Kristen Taekman Reflects on Her Post-RHONY Marriage Drama with Josh Taekman: "Here We Are Now"

Kristen Taekman spent two seasons on The Real Housewives of New York City. And during her time in the Big Apple crew, fans got to go home with the model, her husband, Josh Taekman, and their two young kids, Kingsley and Cassius. While she definitely weathered ups, downs, and drama during her stint on RHONY, she also faced a personal drama that went public after her exit from the show.

"Right after I decided not to do the show, there was a little blip in the radar screen in the tabloids with my marriage," she recalled on Life After Bravo, referring to her husband being involved in the Ashley Madison leak back in 2015. "And you know what? It was so funny 'cause I have so many friends like, 'I [bet] Bravo wishes that had some cameras rolling.' But to be totally honest with you, there was nothing really to talk about or to roll [on]. It's like, whatever happens in my marriage, my private life at that point was private."

Kristen further elaborated on how going through a public incident like that changed her nearly 15-year marriage — for the better: "And all I can say is, I think every marriage has its ups and downs and its bumps in the road. And we had one and we're stronger for it and here we are now."
