Kyle Cooke Reveals the Summer House Group Chat Was “Silent” Ahead of the Reunion: Here’s Why
Hannah Berner, on the other hand, has a totally different theory.
The cast of Summer House is a super tight-knit group, but according to Kyle Cooke, the dynamic has been a little different lately.
In the above video captured just before the Hamptons housemates headed into the Season 5 reunion, available exclusively to Bravo Insiders, the cast explained how they were feeling as they prepared to unpack all the drama of the summer. “It’s nerve-racking getting a group of friends together that haven’t seen each other and clearly have some things to discuss,” said Carl Radke.
Although the friends usually stay in touch frequently, they haven’t had a chance to work through some of the lasting drama from the summer. Kyle explained that although he’s “been in touch with everybody” since the group left the Hamptons at the end of the summer, things started to change when the show actually began airing this February. According to Kyle, “communications abruptly stopped in our group chat when the season started to air,” which is “rare for the Summer House group chat to go silent, because we’re all a family and it was basically silent all season long, and I think that says something.”
It sounds like most of the cast members can agree that communication has been lacking, but they’re not on the same page about what could have caused the disconnect. To hear what Hannah Berner—who by the way, is feeling “good” heading into the reunion—had to say about the situation, hit play on the video above.
