Now that Kyle Richards is wearing her executive producer hat on the set of her new TV project, American Woman, she's giving her daughter, Portia Umansky, an inside look at how television is made. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom brought her daughter to the set of the series, which will make its debut at a later date.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Shooting is well underway on the project, which is based on Kyle's own childhood back in the 1970's. It stars Alicia Silverstone in the role of Bonnie (who is loosely based on Kyle's mom), as well as Mena Suvari, Cheyenne Jackson, and Jennifer Bartels, who play Bonnie's friends. The single-camera comedy will air on TV Land, and you can count on the costumes being very authentic. As you can see, the era is alive and well.

The wig budget alone must be extraordinary. But it looks worth it since everyone is looking pretty groovy!

In addition to her producer role on American Woman, Kyle is also back to work for Season 7 of RHOBH, as you can see below.
