Kyle Richards Celebrates Turning 42 with Margaritas and Mariachis
The RHOBH star enjoyed a bday brunch with pal Lisa VanderPump.
1.11.11 was a special day — but not simply because of its unique, once-a-century sequence.
"SO excited that my birthday is on 1.11.11 :-)" Kyle Richards tweeted. The festivities started for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star early in the day with a birthday brunch at Lisa VanderPump's Villa Blanca restaurant. But that was just Kyle's warm-up. Next it was off to Frida for a lively dinner party that included a mariachi band?
"Listening to these damn mariachis- they're good!" Kyle's oldest daughter Farrah tweeted.
Unlike previous dinner parties, this one seemed fairly drama free. "Happy birthday Kyle my headache tomorrow will remind me of how much fun and how many margaritas I had," Lisa tweeted.
Co-star Taylor Armstrong also sent her birthday wishes via Twitter, "Happy Birthday @KyleRichards18!! Wishing you a year filled with lots of love and laughter. Love U!! XO"
The birthday girl was equally appreciative of her fans helping her to toast 42. "Thank you all so much for being so thoughtful and sending birthday wishes. LOVE reading them!!” she posted. “Loved the mariachis. Fun laughing w/ family and friends! Time to say byebye to 1.11.11"
Just for fun, here's something we learned yesterday about those calendar ones: Take the last two digits of the year you were born. Now add the age you'll turn in 2011. Boom: 111.
