Kyle Richards Cheers Amanda Knox's Acquittal

RHOBH star fixated on case "from day 1."

After spending the last four years locked up in an Italian prison, 24-year-old Amanda Knox is free to return home to Seattle. And like so many observers, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards has been anxiously awaiting the jury's decision. "So happy Amanda Knox is free. My heart goes out to her, her family and Meredith Kercher's family," she tweeted.

Amanda Knox, along with her ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, were appealing their 2009 convictions for murdering Amanda's roommate, Meredith Kercher, in 2007. Amanda had been previously sentenced to 26 years behind bars, and Raffaele to 25.

"I have been following the Amanda Knox case from day 1 and have always thought she was innocent. Sad," Kyle said earlier in the day. Co-star Camille Grammer's BFF Dedra Whitt shared Kyle's elation over the verdict. "So happy for Amanda Knox!" she tweeted. Likewise, RHMIA's Lea Black couldn't agree more with overturning the conviction. "Fingers crossed #freeamandaknox…#noevidence!" she posted before Amanda's acquittal was announced.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Caroline Manzo, however, wasn't quite sold. "Amanda Knox - sketchy evidence? This is a strange case, lots of pieces missing. Not sure how I feel," she tweeted.
