Kyle Richards Says Her Drama with Lisa Vanderpump Has Become "So Much Worse"
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies explain why they haven't been able to repair their friendship.
Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump's drama this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been pretty bad — the worst we've ever seen it, actually. We mean, did you see how heated things got between them at Villa Rosa?
However, their rift has now actually become "so much worse" as fans watch the end of their friendship play out on RHOBH every week and then take to social media to share their honest opinions on what's happening on the show. "The Twitter world just loves to take their gasoline and throw a match on it, which really hurts us, because we could maybe be getting better and then a lot of the cast will look and see what the Twitter universe is saying, and it gets us worked up again," Kyle recently told AOL. "Like, can you not contribute to this? We’re trying to fix things!"
Kyle also explained that her tension with Lisa has become "very polarizing," with fans choosing sides in the conflict. "People so want Lisa and I to be together and are so upset about it," she said. "Lisa and I are having this argument and then you have people making it so much worse than it is."
Lisa had a similar explanation for why she and Kyle just can't seem to repair their relationship this time around, unlike other rifts in the past, during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 9 After Show (clip above). "Certainly, I think people are perpetuating the negativity just by things they're saying, you know, continually, and I don't think that's gonna help, really," she shared. "I mean, we've been through rough times before, but I think this one kind of superseded them all."
The RHOBH ladies ran into each other while out shopping recently, which was the first time they had seen or spoken to each other in eight months. They both said the reunion was "OK."
Lisa said during the After Show that she has "no idea as of right now" if she and Kyle can get their friendship back on track. However, Kyle remained more optimistic about their future while speaking to PEOPLE in April. “I would like to think we can be friends again,” she said. “I always have room in my heart for someone that I have cared about.”
