Kyle Richards considers herself the luckiest girl in Beverly Hills, and she's ready to share her good fortune -- or at least the story behind how she got it.
"I'm a very open person," the self-described "girls' girl" says in a trailer for her new book, Life Is Not a Reality Show: Keeping It Real with the Housewife Who Does It All, which will be realeased December 27. "I talk about my husband, our relationship, how I raise my children. I talk about beauty and fashion. I just wanted to be able to open my life and share my thoughts on everything from my personal life to how I get dressed at night and how I put myself together to how I get up and make my kids snacks in the morning. Yes, people see me on this reality show, and I do have a glamorous life at times, but I’m also a mom and a wife."
And a happily married wife (have you seen her husband?) at that. So, what's the trick to a strong marriage, Kyle? "Well, first and foremost, you really do have to marry your soulmate. You've got to marry somebody out of pure love. I hear so many people say, 'Well, it's not perfect, but one day I think. . .' You really have to be pretty perfect to start off with, because believe me, life is going to throw you a ton of curveballs." And if your soulmate has abs as chiseled as Mauricio's, that's just a bonus.
