The June 9 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills closed out on the news that Erika Girardi had filed for divorce. She shared it with her friends via a text just as they were returning home from their girls' trip to Lake Tahoe (clip above).

On the June 12 episode of The Daily Dish podcast, Kyle Richards spoke about this season of RHOBH, including her reaction to the Erika situation: "When we were in Tahoe, we didn't know anything was going on with her, [that] she was having any issues, so when we got that text, we were shocked."

Kyle also opened up about what that was all like on Wednesday's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "Looking back on it, Kyle, do you think that Erika was dropping little hints in Tahoe?" Andy Cohen asked. "Like when she said, 'Nothing is like what it seems'? Did you get that, or no?"

Kyle noted that in Tahoe, she didn't feel like there were hints being dropped about the big life news Erika was about to share, though Kyle added, "But in her [Erika's] interview bites, I definitely felt like she was giving some hints there, yes."

Was Erika Jayne Dropping Hints About Her Divorce?

During an appearance on WWHL last month, Garcelle Beauvais showed her support for Erika. "It was shocking. It was absolutely shocking. I mean, you don't wish this on your worst enemy. So to have Erika going through all that and the fact that, like Kyle said, the fact that she showed up, I don't know if I would have showed up, honestly," Garcelle shared in the episode, which featured the RHOBH cast without Erika. "The fact that she showed up, I think, was really tremendous on her part."

Erika has been open about her ups and downs during RHOBH Season 11. In a season premiere moment, first shared with Bravo Insider members, Erika opened up about her personal struggles in the last year during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Like all of us, I'm busy all of the time, and when I came home from New York, it was really silent. And then when I didn't have anything to do, I was walking the halls of the house, and I couldn't sleep," Erika opened up to her fellow Beverly Hills Housewives in the RHOBH Season 11 premiere. "And I couldn't shake it, and I couldn't shake it. I was feeling this incredible dread. Who am I if I'm not working? Every day, I woke up, and I dreaded waking up."
