Kyle Richards Speaks Out About Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Finale
"We both said and did things that we regret," Kyle says of her fight with Kim.
Kyle Richards is speaking out after last night's dark, drama-filled Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season finale, saying her confrontation with her sister "never should have occurred."
Kyle and sister Kim Richards were captured in an explosive fight in the season's final moments, an incident that left Kim sobbing alone in the back of a limousine and left fans shocked at the heated exchange.
"The events that transpired that evening were quite unfortunate and should never have occurred on or off camera," said in a statement released to Bravo. "There are a lot of elements to the story that viewers didn’t see. This has been difficult for our entire family as we both said and did things that we regret. My sister and I love each other very much we want to move forward and put this behind us."
Both sisters came face-to-face and discussed the incident during the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion special, which premieres Thursday. Kyle also addressed the incident in her Bravotv.com blog, writing "It feels so strange to even refer to it as an 'episode.' This is my life. This is Kim's life. I wish we were just characters on television, but this is all too real. That night never should have happened. It was incredibly difficult to go through in the first place and it's even more difficult to watch and relive it."
She went on to reiterate her adoration for her sister, writing "I love my sister so much. Sometimes, I wish I loved her a little less. You may be thinking, 'You have a funny way of showing it.' And you're not wrong. However, our arguments were never about what was happening at that moment."
