Whoa, Did Kylie Jenner Finally Address the Jordyn Woods Situation?
In an interview with The New York Times, the Kylie Cosmetics mogul answered a question about her former sidekick.
We've heard a lot about the whole Jordyn Woods/Tristan Thompson cheating scandal, but not always from the Kardashian/Jenner family themselves. True, Khloe Kardashian addressed Woods via Twitter immediately after the latter appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk. But the rest of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clan is only slowly starting to speak out about the shocking incident.
Last week, family matriarch Kris Jenner finally addressed the scandal. "I pray about it. I really do,” the momager told Ryan Seacrest on March 29. “I find that just the spiritual side of me has to kick in because otherwise I feel like I wouldn’t survive.” But how is Kylie Jenner, Woods' former roommate and sidekick, coping with the situation?
The Kylie Cosmetics mogul hasn't spoken directly about the scandal. But, Jenner at least shut down a rumor that she's trying to shade Woods by discounting a Kylie Cosmetics item named after her (former?) bestie.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, Jenner was asked why the Jordy Lip Kit from her collection had been slashed in price from $27 to $13.50. Jenner told the NYT reporter that she actually hadn't known about the price drop, but that she called an employee immediately when she found out. Apparently, the item had been put on sale because it was due for a change in packaging.
"That is just not my character. I would never do something like that and when I saw it, I was like, thrown back,” Jenner said. “Jordyn knows I didn’t actually put it on sale.”
Hm, is this a clue that Jenner still has some loyalty toward Woods? We'll be curious to see how things play out.
