Caroline Stanbury Reveals Why Her Proposal "Was So Bloody Irritating"

Caroline Stanbury recently announced her engagement to boyfriend Sergio Carrallo, and now, the Ladies of London alum is opening up about the intimate moment she said yes. 

During an interview with RealiTea with Derek Z, Caroline chatted about what exactly was running through her mind that day in the Himalayas. 

“Well, I mean I was up the mountain. I hadn’t washed for six days. I just woke up with Sergio brushing my hair and I’m like, ‘What are you doing?’ And he was just so happy,” she explained. “And I was like, it was so bloody irritating because I was freezing. I was brought 5,400 meters up. As much as it was amazing, my pictures aren’t the best.” 

Though Caroline felt the photos weren’t “the best,” we have to say they were still pretty adorable. She shared a video, as well as a few shots from the moment in a January 2 Instagram post, writing, “So I have been wanting to share this moment with you all! 5,400 meters up on the holy lakes I said YES!” 

Caroline also dished on what we can—or rather, cannot—expect to see from her wedding. 

“I haven’t really thought about it,” she admitted when asked about the wedding planning process. “I know what I don’t want. I want to have no shoes. I want to be on an island. I want to have just my close friends. I want to make it really cool. You know, my first wedding had seven hundred and fifty people and half of them I didn’t know. And so I just want the total opposite.”
