Lady Gaga Weighs In on the 'RHONY' Reunion
The Real Housewives superfan has something to say about #Bookgate.
The controversy surrounding #Bookgate continued loud and strong on this week's reunion episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, with Aviva Drescher defending the fact that she accused Carole Radziwill of hiring a ghostwriter for her bestselling memoir, What Remains.
But things took a turn for the truly outrageous when another venerable author's name got thrown into the fray: Harper Lee. Aviva mentioned rumors that the Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist of To Kill a Mockingbird actually had her book ghostwritten by Truman Capote.
At the reunion, Andy Cohen immediately quipped, "I don't think Harper Lee, who is going to be watching this reunion, is going to be happy to hear you're accusing her." And now he's got support from none other than Real Housewives superfan, Lady Gaga, who tweeted, "Harper Lee wrote To Kill A Mockingbird. #RHONY LORD JESUS."
Andy immediately responded, tweeting "GAGA WATCHING REUNION I LOVE IT." But, of course, the pop star has been a long-affirmed Real Housewives aficionado. From professing her love for the series (and claiming her own Housewives tagline would be "They may say I'm a woman...but underneath I'm all man") on Watch What Happens Live last year to casting the ladies from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in her music video for G.U.Y. this spring, Gaga has proven herself an unabashed devotee of all things Real Housewives.
