You'll Never Believe How Pregnancy Has Changed Lala Kent
The Vanderpump Rules cast member also shared an update on how she's spending her time until she welcomes her daughter to the world.
Lala Kent is gearing up to meet her baby girl in a few months, but before the Vanderpump Rules cast member welcomes her first child with fiancé Randall Emmett, she’s taking some time to kick back and relax. The mama-to-be opened up about her pregnancy and how she’s spending her time before her baby arrives.
“It’s approaching noon. I’m still in my bed…which normally, I would feel guilty about, but I talked myself through the guilt yesterday,” Lala shared in a January 5 Instagram Story. “I was like, girl, in a few months, you are going to have a newborn baby. You’re going to have to go back to work at some point, and the world is not going to be shut down forever. At some point, it’s gonna be back to shakin’ again, and I have to be a part of that world. So, I’m just enjoying this time in my life.”
Lala also discussed her pregnancy with The Daily Dish, sharing some of the ups and downs she’s experienced so far.
“My pregnancy, the very beginning was a little stressful. Because I had clotting. I was just very worried. They had put me on bed rest, and I was always tired. Now the second trimester, I’m like, I want to be pregnant all the time. I never want this feeling to end,” she explained during an interview in mid-December. “But you know, every time I go to a doctor’s appointment, I get very worried that they’re gonna see something that’s not normal. So those days are stressful. But other than that, once those appointments are over, it’s just like, of course I want to meet her. I want her to be here. But I just love the feeling of being pregnant.”
According to Lala, motherhood has already changed her.
“It’s going to be the biggest year of my whole life. I’m very excited. I just, I can’t believe I’m gonna become a mom. Maybe it’s just because I haven’t been around anybody that I don’t vibe with that much, but I’m like, wow, I have become a really sweet person,” she said. “I’m just feeling very maternal and motherly. And I’m just like, I didn’t realize I could love someone that I have never met so much.”
Lala recently got a look at her daughter’s face during a doctor’s appointment and later shared the sonogram with her Instagram followers. “Ultrasounds are sometimes hard to make out,” she wrote. “Can you see my baby girl’s nose, lips, and little finger tips? She’s also blowing bubbles. I’m so in love.”
Lala then tagged @givethemlalababy, an Instagram account where she’s been sharing some updates throughout her pregnancy, including the full sonogram photo.
