Lala Kent Goes Dark on Social Media to Self-Quarantine
The Vanderpump Rules cast member says the whole situation has been "way too heavy."
Although Lala Kent has been doing her best to remain positive throughout the coronavirus outbreak on Instagram, it looks like the Vanderpump Rules cast member has decided to go dark on social media for the time being. On March 16, she posted a solid black square to her grid to share her plans with her followers and briefly open up about the current circumstances. Lala has not been diagnosed with COVID-19, but she does plan to practice social distancing.
“About to quarantine my ass off. This whole situation has been way too heavy,” Lala wrote. “I’ll catch y’all when this is over. Until then, be safe, stay healthy, and try not to kill each other over toilet paper.”
The bride-to-be, whose wedding is scheduled for April 18, had previously commented on the pandemic.
“So, I may get in trouble for saying this, but it’s OK. I just don’t feel that God would give me coronavirus before I get married. I just don’t see that!” she said in an Instagram Story on March 12.
“All jokes aside, coronavirus is freaking me the f--k out. I’m not leaving this f--king house. I’m staying in bed all day," she later said.
It looks like the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast members are playing it safe as well. Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark are currently living with Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney-Schwartz because their home “isn’t livable” while it’s being renovated. Stassi also postponed her east coast tour dates, and is monitoring the situation in regards to her October wedding in Italy.
As for Jax Taylor? He’s stocking up on toilet paper... and Cadbury cream eggs.
