Does Landon Clements Feel She Betrayed Thomas Ravenel?
The #SouthernCharm pal reveals where things currently stand with the Charleston dad.
Landon Clements certainly found herself in the middle of some Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn C. Dennis related drama this season on Southern Charm. That all came took an interesting twist at the end of Season 4 when Landon apologized to Kathryn over some past perceptions about the nature of her friendship with Thomas, who has two kids with Kathryn. "I seem to be caught in the middle of a lot of stuff all the time," Landon told The Daily Dish. "Like, leave me alone."
That apology — and Landon also defending Kathryn to Thomas — however, came as a bit of a shock for him. "With Thomas, it wasn't so much of a betrayal to him. It was just [that] I'm so sick of talking about this. I'm so sick of dealing with this. It doesn't have anything to do with me," she said. "And this whole sort of notion of girl code: We haven't hooked up, so I haven't broken any girl code. That whole thing is so childish anyways. Everyone just needs to work on themselves."
Thomas and Landon appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen following Monday's season finale, and there Thomas shared his reaction to the events of the Key West trip. "I was bemused because one part of me wants her to be friends with Kathryn," he said, adding, "But then the other part was confused that she was being friends at my expense." (For the record, Landon added that "it wasn't at your expense.")
As for what appeared to be a possible romance blooming between Thomas and Landon, well, she had this to say to The Daily Dish: "We always were friends and all of the 'You guys need to date' sort of came from everyone else. But no one ever asked either one of us what we wanted," she said, noting that's what made it easy for them to remain pals in the wake of those moments. "We never really had problems. Temperatures rise and you know so much about each other that just everyone needs to work on themselves. We're just like a big dysfunctional family, but at the end of the day you're gonna work through it and make it work."
