Lauren Wirkus Welcomed Her First Child with Husband David Raih

There’s another Wirkus girl in the mix! Lauren Wirkus Raih has welcomed her first child with husband David Raih. The Summer House alum announced the news alongside a sweet photo of her newborn baby girl in an April 22 Instagram post. 

“Hiii my name is Goldie Sara Raih,” Lauren shared in a caption written in her daughter’s voice. “My mama has been quiet on here because I was born last Friday April 16th, 2021 at 2:04pm in Nashville and she has been busy taking care of me with Daddy! I weighed 8lbs 3oz and am 20.25 inches long.” 

The post also explained the significance of Goldie’s unique moniker, noting, “My name is a mix of my parents just loving the name Goldie and then my middle name matching my mama’s middle name after my great great grandma who went to college at Belmont in Nashville where I was born! I can’t wait to keep growing and show you how big I get! Xoxo, Goldie Girl.” 

Lauren’s twin sister and fellow Summer House alum Ashley McAtee Wirkus jumped into the comments section to share her well wishes and excitement for the latest family member, writing, “Love my niece Goldie so much! I can’t wait to hold you tomorrow and for all of our adventures ahead!”
