Lauri Peterson Celebrates 10 Years with Her "Lucky Charm" AKA Hubby George
The #RHOC alum and her husband just celebrated a major milestone.
For Lauri Peterson, St. Partrick's Day holds a special meaning. It just so happens to be the day that the Real Housewives of Orange County alum met her longtime love, George Peterson. She waxed nostalgic about the fateful day on Instagram. "10 years ago today on St. Patrick's Day, I met my lucky charm @georgepeterson," she shared. "#luckyinlove #adecadeoflove #cheerstothenext10years."
The Orange County lovebirds recently headed out to Aspen, perhaps to celebrate their love story with a little fun in the snow. They posted some pics from their chilly getaway to Instagram.
A lot has changed for Lauri and George over the last decade. Last October, Lauri opened up to The Daily Dish about the couple's decision to adopt her son's daughter, Kennedy, becoming her guardian as Josh and his wife continue to deal with personal issues. "It's been such a great experience because this is helping them out and hopefully they can get their lives together and be OK. But on the other hand for George and I, I've watched him raise his kids, he's watched me raise my kids, but we didn't have a child together and now I get to see a side of George that I've never seen before," she told us at the time. "And if I was in love with him before, I've fallen so hard in love with him now because he is so generous to take on this huge responsibility."
Below Lauri opens up a bit more about her life after RHOC.
