Get Ready, Jax Taylor: Leah Remini's Scientology Series Is Coming Back
The #PumpRules SURver might want to set his DVR now.
We have some good news for Jax Taylor — Leah Remini's docuseries Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath has been picked up for a second season, according to Deadline. As you might recall, the Vanderpump Rules SURver was pretty obsessed with the series the first time around. So with a second season just around the bend, his upcoming meeting with Mike Rinder, who appears in the series, should be especially interesting.
"She will favorite some of my tweets here and there but her partner, Mike Rinder, he's reached out to me and I'm going to go have lunch with him," Jax told The Daily Dish about the former Scientology member. "I'm going to Florida for Easter and my parents' house is about 10 minutes from the actual Scientology center. We're actually going to go have lunch. I'm pretty excited."
While Jax has done some modeling for the Church in the past, his interest in the series isn't so much tied to that fact but rather in seeing the aftermath of leaving it. "I've been watching it and it's a really interesting documentary," he explained. "It's not about the Scientology. I just feel so bad for him and his family. And it's just a really interesting documentary. And, like I said, I love Leah Remini. I think she's such a badass. She really is."
And while she's been quick to favorite his tweets, Jax is hoping to take their Twittermance to the next level. "It was interesting. I would like a follow," he said. "So, Leah, would you follow me? That'd be awesome, but it's OK."
Check out what else Jax had to say about Leah, below.
