LeeAnne Locken and D'Andra Simmons have a complicated relationship — to say the least. And it seemed these longtime friends, who had previously experienced a ton of friction on The Real Housewives of Dallas Season 3, were possibly starting to rebuild their friendship during the Season 4 Mexico trip. So where do these two stand today?

How to Watch

Catch up on The Real Housewives of Dallas on Peacock or the Bravo App.

LeeAnne told The Daily Dish podcast she's currently cordial with D'Andra and even spent time with her at a party the night before. "I think I saw things in Mexico in D'Andra that enlightened me to parts of her that I thought were no longer there, so there certainly were tender moments for me. Whether or not I reacted to it with 'tender,' I don't know," LeeAnne admitted.

"I will say this as the day is long about this season: Yes, my wedding is the most important part of this season but the second biggest part of the season for me is for everyone to truly understand the dynamics that exist between D'Andra and I. It's not like a black and white, it's not even a rainbow; it is like layers upon layers of difficult emotional attachments and we as humans just have to be able to find a place where we're at the same emotional level at the same time. And that's the journey this season that you see. And there's times when she's there and I'm not and there's times when I'm there and she's not. And that for me, I'm most interested in rewatching that to see if what I felt in the moment is what I see."

As for what is at the center of their conflict, LeeAnne thinks she has an idea. "What's in the middle of that is this unnecessary competition and that is genuinely what I am the most sad about. Because she's never going to be me, I'm never going to be her," she noted.

Despite any tension, "Obviously, there's a part of me that still loves D'Andra," LeeAnne said. "I don't say I love you lightly. But I do want the battle inside of her to win a certain way and I don't know if that's the way she wants it to win... I want genuine, not verbiage, genuine happiness for her."

LeeAnne also shared her thoughts from her and D'Andra's friendtervention earlier this season — check out what she had to say in the podcast episode above. And tune into RHOD every Wednesday at 9/8c. Preview, below.
